The great borough of Hammersmith and Fulham decided, for no real discernible reason that our street needed to be resurfaced this week. So when I took Hampton out this morning it was a bit eerie and odd that no cars were around. At the same time though it was really nice to be out in the peace and quiet.
We walked down the middle of the road and ran around without a leash. Hammie had to watch out for the freshly painted lines though. I contemplated going to get my bike and riding up and down the street just to take advantage of the lack of cars, but seeing as it was only two blocks that was closed off, that wouldn't be all that it was cracked up to be.
