The Birthplace

The last of our Rozak adventures was a visit to 'The Birthplace' the just refer to it as 'The Birthplace' but to those of you not with us on the day, it is better described as 'The Birthplace of William Shakespear'.  The town, of Stratford upon Avon seemed to only exist as a result of tourism and theater.

The house and museum were really well done, I can imagine the are making a fortune on people visiting.  They said no pictures, but clearly they needed to translate to about 15 other languages, since all the foreigners were snapping away.  Bob pretended to not speak English either and took a bunch too.

They said that Shakespear's dad was a glove maker, and the house was half slaughter house and tannery.  Now there is a great garden where the dead sheep would have been.

The town was really nice, not sure what it was like away from the city center, but around the trouisty parts it was really cute.
